1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Digital Comfort GmbH
Rudi-Dutschke-Str. 29
10969 Berlin, Germany
Email: support@digitalcomfortgmbh.site
Phone: +49 1512 3994877
Managing director: Valdur Veskimäe

2. Overview

We keep data processing on this website to a minimum. The site does not use cookies, tracking or analytics tools, advertising networks, social media plugins or embedded third-party content. Fonts and images are served from our own server.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by an external web hosting provider. When you visit the site, the web server automatically records technical data in log files, in particular your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested file, the HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, and the browser and operating system information your browser sends.

We process this data to deliver the website, to keep it secure and stable, and to detect and fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted automatically after a short period. Where required, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the hosting provider under Art. 28 GDPR.

4. Contact

If you contact us by email, phone, or the contact form on this site, we process the data you give us (for example your name, email address and message) to answer your enquiry and for follow-up questions.

The contact form does not send data to our web server. When you submit it, it opens your own email program with your message prefilled, and you send the email from there. Your message therefore reaches us through your email provider and ours.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods (for example under commercial and tax law) require us to keep it longer.

5. Cookies and local storage

This website does not set cookies and does not store information on your device.

6. Recipients and transfers to third countries

We pass personal data only to service providers that process it on our behalf, such as our hosting and email providers, and only to the extent necessary.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin, Germany, www.datenschutz-berlin.de.

8. Security

This site is delivered over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We use technical and organisational measures to protect the data we process against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

9. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The current version is always available on this page.
